Lord, guide us to be of service to You and others. Inspire us to care for all of your creation, especially the
youth. Fill us with truth, hope and love in all that we do. Unite us to faithfully journey together with You
as we work to build Your Kingdom within our community.

WHY WE SAY SERVIAM
Serviam! is Latin for "I will serve." This was the cry of St. Michael the Archangel as a direct response to
Lucifer's "I will not serve". Our motto, Serviam!, thus reorients us to follow God’s will by embodying the
concept of selfless service and dedication to the betterment of humanity. Through humility, compassion,
and a sense of responsibility towards God's creation, it serves as our guiding principle of personal
commitment and faithful service toward making a positive difference in the core of our future - our youth.
OUR PATRON SAINTS
Blessed Carlo Acutis
Carlo Acutis was born May 3, 1991 and was diagnosed with leukemia as a teenager. Before his death in 2006, he offered his sufferings for Pope Benedict XVI and for the Church, saying: “I offer all of my suffering to the Lord for the pope and for the Church in order not to go to purgatory but to go straight to heaven.”
From a young age, Carlo had a special love for God, even though his parents weren’t especially devout. As a young child, Carlo loved to pray the rosary and his love for the Eucharist also inspired a deep conversion for his mother. He managed to drag his relatives to Mass and to convince others to receive Communion daily and brought conversion to those around him. He was known for standing up for kids at school who got bullied, especially kids with disabilities. Acutis' canonization Mass is expected to take place on Sunday April 27, 2025. (Source CNA)
St. John Bosco
John Bosco was a kind and gentle man who loved children. He was a priest who helped many young boys who were orphans or had no families to take care of them. He believed that every child deserved love, care, and education, and he worked hard to provide them with a safe and happy home. He also started a school for the boys, where they could learn and grow together. He taught them about God's love and how to be good friends to one another. Many people call him the "Gentle Shepherd" because of his kindness and care for the children.
